Flour, water, salt and a little confidence

A simpler way to understand sourdough.

If sourdough has always felt complicated, unpredictable or slightly mysterious, I’ll help you make sense of it. You’ll learn how your dough should look and feel at every stage, so you can understand what it needs and know what to do next.

A properly hands-on workshop

Build confidence at every stage.

This isn’t a demonstration. You’ll get your hands into the dough and complete every important stage yourself, with friendly guidance whenever you need it.

You won’t simply follow a recipe. You’ll learn to read your dough, trust your judgement and understand why each step matters.

  1. 01
    Understand

Starter care, fermentation and what your dough is telling you.

  2. 02
    Make

Mix, strengthen, fold and shape your signature white loaf.

  3. 03
    Create

Finish with an elephant ear or a beautiful floured stencil.

Better together

Learn alongside people
just like you.

There’s something reassuring about learning alongside others who are finding their way with sourdough too. Around the table, you’ll compare dough, share questions and enjoy the small victories together.

No prior knowledge. No pressure to keep up. Just a friendly afternoon of making bread together.

“

Meet your baker

Hello, I’m Autumn.

“You can bake great sourdough at home. I’ll show you how.”

I previously ran a sourdough micro-bakery from my home kitchen, baking fresh bread for the local community and supplying local gastropubs, including The Black Horse in Ireland and The Hermit of Redcoats.

I’ll share the practical knowledge I gained through years of regular baking and help you make it work in your own kitchen.
